The government media office in Gaza said on Wednesday that the Gaza Strip has reached a catastrophic stage after the occupation adopted a policy of starvation, while the director of the Palestinian NGO Network confirmed that 25,000 patients and wounded need immediate medical evacuation from the Strip.
The director of the government media office – in a press conference at the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the central Gaza Strip – Ismail Al-Thawabta – “We sound the alarm, as our Palestinian people have reached a catastrophic stage of hunger and worsening suffering.”
Al-Thawabta explained that the occupation practices a policy of starvation against the Palestinian people, especially in the north of the Gaza Strip, stressing that the occupation is still closing all crossings and ports, and preventing the entry of foodstuffs, to implement the generals’ plan in the Gaza Strip.
Al-Thawabteh held the occupation fully responsible for the “catastrophic and complex crime” it is committing in the Gaza Strip, calling on the world to condemn Israel and its “violation of international law, international humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions.”
