Palestinian medical sources reported that the death toll from the continuous Israeli shelling since dawn on Sunday on different parts of the Gaza Strip has risen to 40 people, including 35 people in the northern Gaza Strip.
Palestinian state news agency WAFA said the dead included children and women.
It added that a number of displaced people were killed and injured, on Sunday morning, during the storming of the Israeli army forces, a school in Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip, and forced the displaced, who were there, to evacuate it, at gunpoint.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip said on Sunday that the Israeli military offensive on the Gaza Strip has killed at least 44,976 Palestinians and injured 106759 since October 7, 2023.
