The Government Information Office in Gaza confirmed that the situation in the Gaza Strip is becoming more dangerous due to the continuation of the war and the imposition of a tight siege by the occupation forces on the population.
The director of the media office, Ismail Al-Thawabta, said in a press statement that the Israeli occupation continues to close all Gaza crossings, and prevents the entry of aid and food into the Strip.
He stressed that the Gaza Strip has reached a “catastrophic stage” due to the occupation’s policy of starvation, and called on the United Nations Office for Humanitarian Affairs to manage the serious food crisis in the Gaza Strip.
He also called on Arab and Islamic countries to take a clear position towards what the Palestinian people are experiencing.
