The death toll of journalists since the start of the Israeli occupation aggression on the Gaza Strip on the seventh of October 2023 has risen to 196 martyrs.
The Government Media Office in Gaza said in a statement today that with the rise of photojournalist Ahmed Al-Louh as a result of the Israeli warplanes’ bombing of a civil defense point in Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip earlier today, the number of journalists martyrs rises to 196 since the start of the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.
The statement condemned the Israeli occupation’s targeting of Palestinian journalists, calling on the international community and international organizations related to journalistic work in the world to deter the occupation and prosecute it in international courts for its continuous crimes and pressure it to stop the crime of genocide and stop the murder and assassination of journalists.
