Gaza’s Health Ministry said Tuesday that Israeli forces forced officials of the Indonesian hospital in the northern enclave to evacuate patients from it, many of whom arrived at another hospital miles away in Gaza City, some on foot.
The Indonesian hospital is one of the few still partially functioning in the northern enclave, which has been under intense Israeli military pressure for nearly three months.
Israel says its operations around the three communities surrounding the hospital — Beit Lahiya, Beit Hanoun and Jabalia — target Hamas militants.
