After nearly a decade of the global war on Yemen, its forces decided to fight the new battle in the Red Sea, despite the various levels and international dimensions of the confrontation. What are the most prominent gains it has achieved over the past months of the confrontation?

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

With the launch of the Saudi-Emirati aggression in a coalition of 17 countries in March 2015, the world was awaiting the fall of Yemen, and the matter prompted Saudi Arabia to set only two weeks for the battle.

The coalition was brimming with power it had mobilized against a country that had barely withstood the successive storms of the transformation in its scene in recent years.

Although the exhausted Yemen, plagued by political conflicts, regional and international conspiracies, and the dominance of extremist groups, in addition to the preemptive attacks that paralyzed its last military capabilities, was not ready for the battle at the time, it was able to gradually recover and reach the heart of the battle, which ended with a reluctant Saudi withdrawal within a truce agreement that is still in place despite the conspiracies and violations.

It was supposed that Yemen would choose a convalescence period to recover during the years that followed the truce and rebuild itself internally to face the dangers and catch its breath, but when Gaza was subjected to a war of extermination, it decided to engage in the Al-Aqsa flood, throwing all the strength and faith it possesses into the battle until it reached a level that is not measured locally but internationally.

The confrontations began with drones, followed by ballistic missiles, then submarines, and today the hypersonic force is on the table of confrontation. The distances covered by the drones and missiles were less than they are today, and less in terms of destructive power and precise targeting, to be placed at the forefront of modern weapons.

Over the course of a full year of confrontation with the mightiest fleets and superpowers, Yemen succeeded in imposing a new equation, the first of which is the rush towards the forefront of the most militarily capable and advanced countries in military industries, as it has become the fifth country in the world to announce the use of hypersonic missiles and one of the few countries that rely on suicide drones.

The navigational lanes in the region, from the Red Sea to the Arabian Sea, passing through the Gulf of Aden and the Indian Ocean, have come under full Yemeni control, and navigation movement in this important region, which accounts for 45% of the volume of maritime trade around the world, is now governed by the decision of the Yemeni forces.

In fact, Yemen has become a difficult number in the region, militarily and geopolitically, by drawing the features of a new phase that may cast its shadows on the centers of global influence in the region, in addition to its reformulation of the features of the new war here and imposing a new reality that puts America and its allies in a new equation, either surrender by stopping the aggression and lifting the siege on Gaza, or sinking their battleships and destroyers, and that is a step whose decisions have not been made yet.
