The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Thursday that the death toll of the Israeli war of genocide on the Strip has risen to 48,239 martyrs and 111,676 injured since October 7, 2023.
The ministry said in its daily statistical report on the Palestinian martyrs and wounded in the Gaza Strip: “The toll of the Israeli aggression has risen to 48,239 martyrs, and 111,676 injuries since the seventh of October 2023.”
“17 martyrs arrived in Gaza Strip hospitals within 24 hours, including 14 whose bodies were recovered from under the rubble, 3 new, and 9 wounded,” it said.
A number of victims are still under rubble and on the roads, where ambulance and civil defence crews are unable to reach them due to lack of equipment, she said.
Despite the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, the Israeli occupation army continues to target Palestinians by shelling or shooting with its marches, resulting in martyrs and injuries.
