A United Nations investigation concluded Thursday that Israel committed acts of genocide in the Gaza Strip through the systematic destruction of reproductive health care facilities.
The UN Commission of Inquiry reported that Israel deliberately attacked and destroyed the main fertility center in the Palestinian enclave, simultaneously imposing a blockade and blocking aid, including medicines needed to ensure pregnancy, childbirth, and neonatal care.
Israel’s mission in Geneva responded by saying that the Jewish state “categorically rejects the baseless accusations.”
