The “Supreme Political Council” (the highest authority in Sana’a) said this evening that “targeting civilians proves American impotence,” stressing that “this will not deter us from supporting Gaza but will drag the situation into something more severe and painful.”
Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The Council, in a statement issued after a series of American airstrikes on the capital and several Yemeni governorates, affirmed that “disciplining the aggressors will be done professionally and painfully,” in an indication of their expectation of these attacks and the readiness of their forces to respond to such escalation.
The statement added that “the American, and with him the Zionist entity, will fail and drag the tails of disappointment and defeat, as happened during the Al-Aqsa Flood battle,” calling on “the international community to fulfill its responsibilities towards the American-Israeli recklessness that will affect everyone.”
The “Supreme Political Council” stressed that “the Yemeni naval operations continue until the siege on Gaza is lifted and aid is allowed in,” considering that “the American raids on Yemen are a return to the militarization of the Red Sea and a real threat to international navigation in the region.”
