On Saturday, Britain issued a new warning to American and British ships regarding navigation in the Red and Arabian Seas, coinciding with the registration of a new aggression on the Yemeni capital.
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The well-known British risk consultancy company “IOS Risk Group” predicted that Yemen would target British and American ships.
International media outlets quoted the company’s chief analyst, Artan Kelly, as saying that if the US and Britain have carried out raids on Sana’a, it is likely that the two countries’ ships will be targeted in retaliation.
The new British warning is the second within a week, as the UK Maritime Trade Operations had previously warned the ships covered by Yemen’s decision to ban Israeli navigation in the Red and Arabian Seas to avoid those corridors.
The new warning came on the eve of a new aggression on Sana’a.
The US claimed responsibility for the attack.
The New York Times quoted American officials as saying that Trump signed an order to launch a broad attack on Yemen.
The new aggression may accelerate the process of Britain and America returning to the list of countries hostile to Yemen, which Yemen had placed during the months of confrontation that extended from the beginning of last year and continued until late this year.
The classification includes targeting the ships of the two countries that announced an alliance in January 2024 to aggression against Yemen.
During those confrontations, a number of ships were sunk, and others were damaged, in addition to battleships.
