The Yemeni forces announced, on Sunday evening, the implementation of extensive attacks targeting the American aircraft carrier “USS Harry S. Truman” in the Red Sea as a response to the raids that targeted the capital, Sana’a, and several Yemeni governorates.

Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the spokesman for the Yemeni forces, explained in a televised statement that their forces “carried out a qualitative military operation targeting the American aircraft carrier and its affiliated warships north of the Red Sea, indicating that the operation was carried out with 18 ballistic and winged missiles and a drone.
Brigadier General Saree affirmed that their attacks came in response to the “American aggression” that launched “more than 47 air raids, targeting several areas in the governorates of Sana’a, Sa’ada, Al-Bayda, Hajjah, Dhamar, Marib, and Al-Jawf, and committing massacres that resulted in dozens of martyrs and wounded in a non-final toll.”
The spokesman for the Yemeni forces warned the American alliance, saying that they “will not hesitate to target all American warships in the Red and Arabian Seas in response to the aggression.”
Regarding Sana’a’s previous announcement regarding supporting Gaza, Brigadier General Saree confirmed that their forces are continuing to “impose the maritime blockade on Israeli navigation until the entry of aid and basic needs into the Gaza Strip.”
