The Trump administration has backtracked from its claims about the killing of dozens of Yemeni leaders, chief among them Al-Houthi.
The Wall Street Journal quoted White House officials as talking about the hiding of what they described as “Houthi leaders.”
The new American statement came after the appearance of Mohammed Al-Houthi, a member of the Supreme Political Council.
Al-Houthi appeared in Al-Sab’een Square in the Yemeni capital, where he delivered a speech containing threats to the US during a demonstration of millions condemning the American aggression and supporting Gaza.
The US Defense had previously claimed in leaks the killing of Al-Houthi in a precise airstrike in Sana’a.
Al-Houthi’s public appearance hours after the rumor of his death not only reflects the extent of the challenge but also refutes the propaganda promoted by America about the escape of Ansar Allah leaders from Sana’a.
Al-Houthi’s appearance is a fatal blow to the American claims about achieving goals with the latest aggression on Yemen.
