The Yemeni Armed Forces announced in a statement today that they carried out extensive military operations over the past hours, during which they targeted the American aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman north of the Red Sea with two cruise missiles and two drones, in addition to targeting an American destroyer with a cruise missile and four drones.

According to the statement, this attack is the third of its kind on the aircraft carrier within the past 48 hours, which has caused confusion in the ranks of the American forces and prompted many warships to withdraw northward in the Red Sea.
The Yemeni Armed Forces also confirmed that they succeeded in foiling an air attack that was being prepared against Yemeni territory.
The Yemeni Armed Forces held the “American aggressor” responsible for the repercussions of the militarization of the Red Sea and the expansion of the confrontation circle, noting that the continued aggression against Yemen will negatively affect international navigation traffic.
The Yemeni Armed Forces affirmed that they would continue to target all hostile targets in the Red and Arabian Seas until the aggression against Yemen stops, stressing their readiness to confront any American or Israeli escalation in the coming hours and days.
In a related context, the Yemeni Armed Forces saluted the Yemeni people who responded to the call of Al-Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi and went out in massive marches on the occasion of the anniversary of the Great Battle of Badr, expressing their jihadist position in support of the Palestinian people and rejecting the American aggression against Yemen.
It also reiterated its position in support of the Palestinian cause, affirming its continued ban of the passage of Israeli ships from the declared operations area until the blockade on the Gaza Strip is lifted.
