The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that the death toll from the Israeli bombing, which targeted separate areas of the Gaza Strip, has risen to 404, “most of them are children and women”, and at least 562 are injured.
Dr. Mohamed Zaqout, Director General of Hospitals in the Gaza Strip, confirmed that “dozens of martyrs and the injured are still praying to hospitals because of the massacres committed by the Israeli occupation in all areas of the Gaza Strip, without exception, even in areas classified by the occupation as safe, especially camps. Displacement,” he said.
Zaqout pointed out that “the occupation fired incendiary and heavy bombs at citizens, which doubled the number of martyrs, and dozens of critical injuries were recorded, which needed urgent surgical intervention, as well as other cases waiting for their turn to suffer from bleeding, burns, fractures, and injuries.
He added that Israel did not allow the entry of any medical device during the truce period, which lasted for more than 51 days, and did not allow the exit of hundreds of wounded and sick people to Egypt, he said. He added that the war in the Gaza Strip destroyed “more than 22 government and charitable hospitals, with only 7 hospitals left operating in this difficult and surprising situation.”
