On Tuesday, the US Central Command issued a statement, the first of its kind in its history, regarding Yemen.
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The statement was dedicated to speaking of the Yemeni forces securing the warehouses and intelligence outposts belonging to it under the humanitarian cover in Sa’ada, the stronghold of the Ansar Allah leader, in northern Yemen.
The US command revealed that the warehouse contains about 1.5 million kilograms of food items, although the warehouse, according to them, belongs to the World Food Program.
The statement included threats to cut aid to the Yemeni people.
The statement tried to attack Ansar Allah, or what they described as the “Houthis.”
The statement reveals the extent of the connection between the US forces and the international organizations operating in Yemen. Furthermore, sending all this volume of foodstuffs to Sa’ada reflects that it has motives beyond humanity and confirms the narrative of Sana’a, which has detained many workers recently after their involvement in intelligence operations.
It was supposed that the statement would be issued by entities related to humanitarian work, not by a military entity leading an escalating war and siege against the statement.
The timing of the statement reveals that the US forces have been subjected to a major preemptive strike, especially with their preparation for a major escalation in this governorate.
It is worth noting that Sa’ada has been subjected to a series of airstrikes over the past two days as part of a map of governorates that included Sana’a, Hudaydah, Dhamar, Al-Bayda, Hajjah, Marib, and Taiz.
