The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip released a new death toll on Wednesday of the “Israeli aggression” on Gaza, showing an additional 970 people killed within 48 hours, after the Israeli occupation intensified its strikes on the Strip.
The death toll from the war of extermination in Gaza, as reported by the Ministry, stood at 48,577 as of Monday afternoon. By Wednesday afternoon, the death toll had risen to 49,547, according to the Ministry.
According to local Palestinian media, 42 citizens were killed on Wednesday in a series of new Israeli airstrikes on various areas of the Gaza Strip, bringing the death toll since dawn today to more than 58. Five citizens were killed in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a civilian car in the Musabeh area, north of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.
