Gaza Health: 710 martyrs have arrived at hospitals

Khalil Al-Daqran, a spokesman for Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, announced that 710 martyrs and more than 900 wounded have arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip as a result of successive Israeli airstrikes over the past 48 hours.

Khalil Al-Daqran, a spokesman for Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, said in press statements on Thursday: “70% of the wounded are women and children, most of whom are in critical condition.”

He pointed out that dozens of wounded have died due to the impossibility of an urgent response due to the lack of medical equipment. He explained that only 15% of patients and wounded have been allowed to leave the Strip for treatment.

The Ministry of Health announced the near-total collapse of the health system in the Gaza Strip, with more than 80% of hospitals and medical centers out of service.

Meanwhile, Marwan Al-Hams, head of field hospitals at the Ministry of Health, said: “The ministry has entered a phase of depleting medical supplies and equipment.”

He pointed out that the Zionist occupation has used new weapons after resuming its war of extermination on the Gaza Strip at dawn on Tuesday.

Since dawn on Tuesday, the Israeli occupation army has launched a series of raids on several areas in the Gaza Strip, leaving more than 710 martyrs so far.
