On the fourth day of the occupation’s resumption of its aggression on Gaza, its forces expanded their incursion into Rafah, coinciding with artillery shelling of several areas across the Strip.
Meanwhile, the death toll exceeded 100 on Thursday, bringing the total to 591 martyrs and 1,042 wounded.
The Israeli army announced on Thursday the launch of a ground operation in the Shaboura area of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, over the past few hours.
The army added that it had expanded its operations in the southern Gaza Strip and continued its operations in northern and central Gaza.
This morning, the Israeli army banned movement on the Salah al-Din axis, the main road extending from the north to the south of the Gaza Strip, after announcing the launch of the ground military operation in the Palestinian enclave.
