The death toll from Israeli airstrikes and attacks targeting various areas in the Gaza Strip rose to 20 on Thursday, since dawn.
Medical sources said that “10 additional Palestinians were killed as a result of airstrikes and gunfire by the Israeli occupation forces in various parts of the Gaza Strip.”
This brings the death toll since dawn to 20, as of 1:15 PM (GMT).
The source reported that seven Palestinians were killed and others were injured in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a home belonging to the Al-Balli family in Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip.
He added that two Palestinian youths, one of whom was disabled, “were killed by Israeli army sniper fire south of Gaza City.”
He also noted that a Palestinian child was killed and his family injured in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a home in the town of Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
Earlier Thursday, medical sources said that 10 Palestinians were killed as a result of the Israeli occupation forces intensifying their aerial and artillery bombardment and house demolitions in the Saftawi area north of Gaza City, the vicinity of Al-Quds Open University west of the city, and the Mawasi area of Khan Yunis south of it.
