Palestinian medical sources told Al-Jazeera that 22 Palestinians were killed in the continuous Israeli bombing of residential neighborhoods in the Gaza Strip since dawn today. Al-Jazeera correspondent reported the death of 5 Palestinians in an Israeli raid on a house in Beit Lahia project in the northern Gaza Strip, stressing that some of the areas targeted by the occupation in the middle of the Gaza Strip had earlier classified them as safe areas.
In the city of Khan Younis, a number of citizens mourned the funeral of the journalist Ahmed Mansour, who was killed at dawn today, as a result of his injuries, in an Israeli bombing targeting a tent for journalists in Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaz Strip, last Sunday. The bombing resulted in the death of two people and the injury of others. Social networks circulated horrific scenes showing journalist Ahmed Mansour burning alive, following the Israeli bombing of the journalists’ tent, next to the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, at dawn on Monday.
