The Yemeni air defenses managed to shoot down an American “MQ-9” drone while it was carrying out hostile missions in the airspace of Al-Jawf Governorate, using a locally made missile.
Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
This is the third plane shot down in 10 days and the 18th since the start of the battle to support Gaza, according to a statement by Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesman for the Yemeni forces.
The statement indicated that the operation came in response to the recent American airstrikes that targeted various areas, leading to the fall of martyrs, wounded, and damage to civilian property.
The Yemeni forces announced the continuation of defensive operations to repel any aggression while stressing their full readiness to deal with any violations of national sovereignty.
Brigadier General Saree’s statement reiterated that the Yemeni military operations will not stop until the “Israeli” aggression on Gaza is stopped, and the siege is lifted.
This statement is part of an ongoing operational escalation for weeks, including targeting American warships in the Red Sea, such as the “Truman” aircraft carrier, and targeting the depth of occupied Palestine in support of Gaza.
