Sana’a affirms its legitimate right to respond: 330 civilian victims in less than a month of American aggression

The Foreign Ministry in Sana’a, on Wednesday, strongly condemned the ongoing American attacks on Yemen, which have claimed the lives of 11 civilians, including women and children, in Al-Hudaydah, according to preliminary statistics. It indicated that the civilian casualties since mid-March have exceeded 107 martyrs and 223 wounded.

Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The ministry affirmed that these attacks violate international law and the United Nations Charter and are an extension of the ongoing aggression of the Saudi-led coalition for a decade. It warned of an escalation of the Yemeni response if the attacks continue.

The statement linked the American escalation to Yemen’s role in pressuring to stop the crimes of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinians, blaming the American veto in paralyzing the Security Council and the Arab and Islamic abandonment.

The Sana’a Foreign Ministry called on the international community to hold Washington responsible for destabilizing the region, expressing its appreciation for the countries and organizations supporting Yemen.

It affirmed that regional stability will not be achieved without stopping the aggression on Gaza and ensuring Palestinian rights, while preserving Yemen’s legitimate right to defend its sovereignty.
