The Fox News network acknowledged that the forces of Sana’a have shot down a new American MQ-9 Reaper drone over Yemeni territory in the past few hours, stating that this plane is the fourth of this type that Sana’a has downed since March 3rd and the fourth during the administration of US President Donald Trump.
Follow ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
According to the newspaper, this is the third MQ-9 plane that has been shot down in Yemen since the start of what it called the “daily air strikes” carried out by the US Central Command on March 15, noting that the US has carried out bombing for 25 consecutive days, with even the stealthy B-2 bombers equipped to drop penetrating bombs participating.
The newspaper confirms that despite the magnitude of the military force used, the forces of Sana’a continue to target these high-cost American air assets—referring to the drones—by launching accurate missiles that have proven their ability to shoot down advanced MQ-9 aircraft, which highlights the growing challenges facing American forces in Yemen’s operational arena.
