Follow ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The maritime-executive platform, which specializes in maritime shipping, admitted that the “Houthis” have developed a strong arsenal of drones and missiles, including Scud and SS-21 missiles.
The platform said, quoting Michael Knights, a researcher at the Washington Institute, that the Yemeni environment has created a nation of warriors who are difficult to coerce, making the destruction of the “Houthis’ capabilities” almost impossible, explaining that the air force of the Saudi-Emirati coalition failed to neutralize the “Houthis’ threat” due to lack of intelligence information.
It pointed out that the “Houthis” have developed a scattered and well-protected missile infrastructure, making it difficult to eliminate it even with the continuous air strikes since 2015.
The platform added that Yemen is a tribal society with a long military history, and the “Houthis” are fierce warriors who are difficult to subdue, and any attempt to completely destroy the “Houthis’ missile capabilities” is unrealistic.
