On Monday, the US reiterated its confirmation that the US aircraft carrier “Harry S. Truman” has been taken out of service in the Red Sea.
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The US Central Command has released a new clip showing workers on board the aircraft carrier “Carl Vinson,” claiming they are continuing their operations against what they described as the “Houthis.”
This unique clip of the aircraft carrier is the second since the announcement of the entry of “Vinson” into the Yemeni theater of operations. The American command had been keen to publish dual clips of Truman and Vinson at the same time during the early days.
The US forces’ restriction of the clips to Vinson confirms the leaked clips that previously showed “Truman” receiving maintenance work at one of the American bases in the Red Sea.
Truman has been subjected to about 23 missile and drone attacks claimed by the Yemeni forces in recent weeks.
The US Defense Secretary had asked the crew of the aircraft carrier Truman to give them a month to replace them.
It is not yet clear whether America is heading to withdraw Truman or is trying to carry out maintenance on it before returning it to service.
The American forces have faced major difficulties in the battle since the start of the new campaign on Yemen four weeks ago, the most prominent of which are the repeated attacks that have thwarted more than one air raid on Yemen.
