Six trucks of medical aid enter the country, supported by the World Health Organization

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Wednesday that six trucks loaded with medicines, medical supplies, and equipment are scheduled to enter the Strip’s hospitals tomorrow, Thursday, via the World Health Organization (WHO).

The ministry clarified in a statement that the shipment does not contain any food items.

It emphasized that the items expected to arrive are vital and urgent supplies that are indispensable for the continuation of medical care and saving the lives of patients and wounded receiving treatment under complex humanitarian conditions.

The Ministry of Health called on citizens, dignitaries, families, and relevant authorities to make every possible effort to protect the convoy and ensure its safe arrival to hospitals.

It emphasized that this shipment represents a glimmer of hope for saving lives amid the severe shortage of medical supplies resulting from the ongoing blockade and aggression.
