EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaya Kallas said that Israel’s ground operation in Gaza will exacerbate the already desperate situation, and will mean more death, destruction, and displacement.
In a blog post published on the American company X on Tuesday, Kallas indicated that the European Commission will present measures tomorrow, Wednesday, aimed at pressuring Tel Aviv to change its course on Gaza.
She emphasized that the Israeli ground operation in Gaza will mean more death, destruction, and displacement.
The European official explained that the operation “will exacerbate the already desperate situation” in the Strip.
