The Houthi attacks the Doha Summit: disappointing outcomes that tempted the enemy and encouraged its violation of Qatar and the Islamic world

Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, the leader of the Ansar Allah movement, directed criticisms at the extraordinary Arab-Islamic Summit held in Doha, describing its outcomes as “mere statements with general descriptions without any practical positions,” despite the large attendance.

Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

In his weekly speech, Al-Houthi affirmed that “the weak and disappointing outcomes of the Doha Summit have tempted the Israeli enemy and emboldened it to insist on violating the state of Qatar and others,” warning that “the violation of Qatar means the violation of all Gulf states, the rest of the Arab countries, and the entire Islamic world.”

He stressed that targeting Qatar is a “major warning” to all governments and leaders of the Islamic world because it proves that “the Israeli enemy will not take into consideration anyone,” regardless of their political weight or economic relations.

Al-Houthi questioned, “Have the Arab and Islamic regimes reached a level where they no longer have the opportunity or the option to take any practical stance?!” pointing out that they did not head towards any of the practical options, foremost among them “cutting relations with the Israeli enemy,” which he described as “the possible and impactful step.

He added that “the regimes at the summit could have announced closing the airspace to the Israeli enemy,” “raising the classification of terrorism for the Palestinian Mujahideen,” and “opening the way for providing material, political, and media support,” affirming that these steps are “disturbing to the Israeli enemy.”

Al-Houthi compared the practical stance of the US with that of the Arab regimes, saying, “The American stands with the Israeli enemy in a serious, real, and practical stance, while the Arabs do not stand with each other.”

He considered that “the words at the summit were clear manifestations of the nation’s turning away from the Holy Quran,” calling for “adjusting the stance according to the Quranic standard” to rescue the nation from the abyss it has fallen into.

He said that “some participants in the Doha Summit do not possess any legal capacity to represent their country, and their direction is hostile to their country,” in reference to Rashad Al-Alimi, the head of the so-called “Presidential Leadership Council” loyal to the coalition.

On the other hand, al-Houthi praised the stance of the Spanish Prime Minister, describing it as “conscious, striking, and expressive of the extent of his sadness,” considering that there is a “great deficiency” in the stances of Arab leaders compared to the Spanish stance. He also praised the stances of Venezuela, Colombia, and South Africa, describing them as “ahead of many regimes and rulers in the Islamic world.”
