The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Monday that the death toll from the genocide perpetrated by the Israeli occupation since October 7, 2023, has risen to 65,344 martyrs and 166,795 wounded.
In its daily statistical statement, the Ministry said, “Hospitals in the Gaza Strip received 61 martyrs and 220 wounded over the past 24 hours as a result of the ongoing Israeli attacks.”
It confirmed that “a number of victims are under the rubble of destroyed homes and facilities and on the roads, where ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them due to the dangerous security situation.”
The Ministry explained that “the death toll among those awaiting humanitarian aid has risen to 2,523 martyrs and more than 18,496 wounded since May 27.”
It noted that “hospitals in the Gaza Strip received 23 wounded awaiting aid over the past 24 hours.”
