Guterres: UNRWA workers in Gaza continue to operate despite Israeli terror

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said that UNRWA workers in Gaza continue to perform their work, despite what he described as “Israeli terror.” And the Secretary-General of the United Nations added, on Thursday, that the agency faces many restrictions in its work, stressing that the situation in Gaza is now unbearable, and that UNRWA is forced to continue working in difficult circumstances.

He stressed that UNRWA is vital to any potential for peace and stability in the region, and we urge all efforts to support its work, and its work must be financed urgently and completely. Earlier, UNRWA announced that 1.9 million people were forcibly displaced in Gaza, once again calling for an immediate ceasefire in the Strip.
