On Monday, the Israeli occupation approved a new plan in the city of Eilat, in the south of occupied Palestine, following its failure to intercept Yemeni attacks.
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The occupation forces began deploying fortified rooms in the streets and tourist resorts for the first time in decades.
Hebrew media quoted sources stating that the goal is to reduce the number of human losses resulting from attacks by those they described as the “Houthis.”
The newspaper “Israel Hayom” considered the deployment of fortified rooms as part of a new defensive plan.
The occupation’s new plan comes amidst an escalation in the pace of Yemeni attacks and the occupation’s failure to intercept them.
On Sunday evening, a powerful explosion shook the hotel area in central Eilat due to a Yemeni drone attack.
The German channel “DW” quoted the Israeli ambulance service confirming 22 Zionists were injured in the attack.
This is the second time the city has recorded a high number of infections since Yemen’s decision to focus operations there in recent weeks.
The successful Yemeni attack occurred despite the occupation deploying several new defense systems in the city.
The most prominent of these systems are the American “THAAD” and a laser system specifically for drones.
On Sunday evening, the occupation forces resorted to using fighter jets in an attempt to intercept the drones but failed, with confirmation that the attack achieved its objective and caused significant casualties.
