Al-Mashat: “Al-Aqsa Flood” is a historic declaration of the uprising of the will of the Palestinian people and the steadfastness of their resistance

Mahdi Al-Mashat, the head of the Supreme Political Council in Yemen, affirmed that the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation was a historic declaration of the triumph of the will of the Palestinian people, who refused to be buried alive and proved their adherence to their land and sanctities.

In a statement marking the two-year anniversary of the operation, Al-Mashat pointed out that the operation came as a legitimate response to decades of injustice, criminality, and killing of the Palestinian people by the Zionist entity and embodied the right to self-defense guaranteed by all international laws and norms.

He described it as a strategic change and a turning point in the conflict with the Zionist occupation, as it thwarted the projects to Judaize Jerusalem, obstructed attempts to liquidate the Palestinian cause, and showed the world that the cause of Palestine will not die as long as there are Mujahideen within it.

He added that on October 7th, the Palestinians restored their dignity, shattered the myth of the invincible army, and exposed the weakness of its intelligence agencies, confirming that confronting the enemy is not an option but the only way to reclaim rights from an occupier that understands only the language of force.

Al-Mashat indicated that the Palestinian resistance has, over two years, recorded a new legend of patience and steadfastness, and with the lives of the sons of the Palestinian people, it has painted the greatest epics of heroism in the modern era, affirming that Palestine will remain a central cause in the Arab and Islamic conscience.

He also highlighted Yemen’s steadfast position in supporting the Palestinian people until the aggression is stopped and the siege is lifted, holding the unlimited American support responsible for participating in the genocide crimes committed by the Israeli occupation.

He concluded by emphasizing that the Zionist scheme seeks to obliterate the Arab and Islamic identity, and that confronting its aggression requires unifying the Arab ranks, praising the sacrifices of all the free and honorable people who stood with the Palestinian people, including Hezbollah, the free people of Iraq, and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
