Palestinian health official: We are committed to our land in Gaza despite the suffering9

Anwar Atallah, head of the International Relations Unit at the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, said that Palestinians are clinging to their land despite their suffering under the genocide perpetrated by Israel over the past two years.
He told Anadolu Agency that he has spent approximately 690 days in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the genocide on October 8, 2023.
He added, “Everyone knew that Gaza was the largest prison in the world until 2023, but now it has been transformed from a prison into an open grave.”
He pointed out that everything in Gaza has been destroyed, including homes, mosques, and schools, and that the healthcare system has completely collapsed.
Atallah emphasized that Palestinians in the Gaza Strip remain attached to their religion and their land despite all the suffering they have experienced.
He added, “We are the rightful owners, and this is our land. We have no other land, so we will remain in Gaza.”
He continued, “Palestinians will always remain in Gaza. It can be rebuilt as soon as possible, God willing.”
