The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) confirmed an urgent need to bring shelter materials and winter supplies into the Gaza Strip.
UNRWA said in a post on the X platform on Saturday that there is a growing need to provide shelter and warmth to the population of the Strip as winter approaches.
It added that these resources allocated to displaced families are located in UNRWA warehouses in Jordan and Egypt and are prohibited from entering.
It stressed the need to resume allowing UNRWA to deliver humanitarian aid into the Strip, especially with the start of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza on October 10.
