Eleven prisoners from Gaza were released and transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in critical condition

Eleven Palestinian prisoners arrived at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in central Gaza on Wednesday evening after being released from Israeli prisons.

Local sources reported that International Committee of the Red Cross teams transported the released prisoners from the Kissufim crossing, east of Deir al-Balah, to the hospital for treatment and medical examinations.

According to the same sources, the prisoners arrived in deteriorating health conditions as a result of the torture, humiliation, and food deprivation they endured during their detention.

The release of these prisoners is part of limited releases carried out by the Israeli occupation from time to time, which have included a number of detainees from the Gaza Strip, after months of detention in Israeli detention centers and prisons, amid human rights reports confirming their exposure to torture and ill-treatment.
