Gaza Health Ministry: Cancer patients unable to receive treatment due to drug shortages

The Ministry of Health in Gaza stated that a large number of cancer patients will be unable to receive treatment due to a shortage of medications. In a statement, the Ministry explained that the severe shortage of cancer drugs is exacerbating the suffering of patients and endangering their lives, especially given the disruption of supply chains and the difficulty of bringing medical supplies into the Gaza Strip.

The Ministry added that hospitals and medical centers are operating with limited resources amidst increasing pressure on the healthcare system.

The Ministry of Health called on international and humanitarian organizations to intervene urgently and provide life-saving medications, warning of serious humanitarian consequences if the drug shortage continues.
