Five Palestinians, including three children, were injured during clashes with Israeli occupation forces at the Araba Junction in al-Bireh. The children were severely beaten, while two others suffered from tear gas inhalation, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent.
The raid coincided with a heavy deployment of soldiers on roads leading to the area, resulting in a partial closure of the junction and traffic disruptions.
In the towns of Turmus Ayya, Abu Falah, Aqrabah, and al-Zubaydat, violent clashes erupted between Palestinian youths and Israeli forces, who fired stun grenades and tear gas to disperse the protesters.
In a related incident, Palestinian youths attacked settlers’ vehicles with stones and removed Israeli flags that had been hung on roads near the village of Turmus Ayya. They also threw stones at a bus and several settler vehicles near the village of al-Lubban al-Sharqiya, south of Nablus.
