An elderly Palestinian woman died Monday morning from the extreme cold in the Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that Zainab Muhammad Awad Musbah, 63, died early Monday morning from the severe cold after being found frozen in front of her tent in the Mawasi area of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
With Musbah’s death, the number of deaths in Gaza due to the cold since the beginning of winter has risen to 11, most of whom were children.
