The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Tuesday that the death toll from the Israeli offensive since October 2023 has risen to 71,662 martyrs and 171,428 wounded.
This came in a statistical statement issued by the ministry, which said that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received two new martyrs and nine wounded in the past 24 hours, without specifying the circumstances.
Since the ceasefire agreement came into effect on October 10, 2023, Israel has continued to commit hundreds of violations through bombing and gunfire.
According to the ministry, the death toll from Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement since October 11 has risen to 488 martyrs and 1,350 wounded.
These violations come despite the US administration’s announcement in mid-January of the start of the second phase of the ceasefire agreement.
