In response to the “Pars” attack, Iran targets the Haifa power plant, causing power outages in large areas

Official Iranian television announced on Thursday the targeting of a power plant in Haifa, in response to the attack that struck the South Pars field.

Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Israeli media reported missiles falling in the Haifa Bay area, leading to damage to vital installations and power outages in large parts of the city and its suburbs, including the “Krayot” area.

The Israeli Broadcasting Authority stated that oil refining facilities belonging to the Bazan company were directly hit, causing fires and damage to energy infrastructure and pipelines.

Reports also indicated damage to vehicles within the industrial complex, amid disruptions to the electricity grid, while the company’s shares recorded a sharp decline on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange following the attack.

Earlier, sirens sounded in coastal and central areas, reaching as far as Ashkelon, prompting large numbers of residents to head to shelters.

This escalation comes after Tehran announced that facilities in the Asaluyeh area were subjected to an attack targeting energy sector installations.
