The number of Palestinian journalists killed has risen

The number of Palestinian journalists killed since the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip began on October 7, 2023, has risen to 262, following the announcement of the death of journalist Mohammed Washah, who was killed today in an Israeli airstrike that targeted his vehicle in Gaza.

The Government Media Office announced that the number of journalists killed by the Israeli occupation has reached 262 after the death of Mohammed Washah.

In a press statement, the Government Media Office condemned the systematic targeting of Palestinian journalists by the Israeli occupation and called on the International Federation of Journalists, the Federation of Arab Journalists, and all journalistic bodies worldwide to condemn the systematic crimes against Palestinian journalists and media professionals in the Gaza Strip.

The statement held the Israeli occupation and the countries supporting and participating in this genocide fully responsible for committing these heinous and brutal crimes.
