A spokesperson for the Lebanese Ministry of Health stated that Israeli airstrikes across Lebanon killed 89 people and injured 700 on Wednesday.
The spokesperson added that 12 paramedics were among the dead in southern Lebanon.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health confirmed that the priority at this stage is completing rescue operations and saving the lives of those still trapped under the rubble, as well as providing treatment to all the injured by distributing them among hospitals.
Field sources reported that the Israeli airstrikes targeted the capital, Beirut, and other areas.
