Araghchi: No military solution will be imposed on us, and we will not submit to American and Israeli threats

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi affirmed on Thursday evening that issues related to Iran “can’t be resolved militarily,” stressing that Tehran “will not submit to threats.”

Araghchi, responding to a question from IRNA news agency regarding the ongoing American and Israeli threats against Iran, said that his country “has become accustomed to these threats that have been repeated for years in various forms and methods.”

He added in a post on his Telegram channel that the parties threatening Iran “are well aware that they have not achieved any results from these threats, not even from the war that was waged against Iran,” according to his expression.

The Iranian foreign minister stressed that “Iran is steadfast in the face of pressures and threats, and whoever speaks with it respectfully will be responded to in kind.”

Araghchi indicated that the US and “Israel” began an attack on February 28 that lasted 40 days against Iran, resulting—according to him—in the deaths of thousands of civilians and the targeting of civilian facilities, including schools, hospitals, and mosques.
