Saudi expulsion of the UAE from a third Arab country on the Red Sea

Saudi Arabia continued, on Thursday, to chase its smaller ally, the UAE, amid persistent attempts to return to the Red Sea.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Saudi Arabia incorporated Jordan into its trade line connecting Europe via Turkey and Syria.

The goal of incorporating Jordan is to keep the main port of Aqaba on the Red Sea under Saudi guardianship.

The UAE has preempted the Saudi step by concluding an agreement with Jordan, granting it the acquisition of the port of Aqaba through a mineral agreement.

According to experts, one of the objectives of the new Saudi line map is to keep the UAE away from the Red Sea.

Jordan is added to other Arab countries where the UAE has suffered painful Saudi blows, most notably Yemen and Somalia.

Through the new line, Saudi Arabia seeks to enhance its control over the European market in light of the energy crisis and shifting alliances in the region.
