Saudi Retreat from Escalation with the “Houthis” Following the Breaking of the Siege on Sana’a

Saudi Arabia retreated from escalation with Yemen on Saturday, following the breaking of its siege on the capital, Sana’a.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Saudi elites affiliated with intelligence began describing Iran’s decision to send an aircraft to Sana’a as a fait accompli.

Foremost among them was the Saudi expert Zaid Al-Omari, who attempted in a tweet to convince the Yemeni forces loyal to his country to coexist with the new reality.

Al-Omari commented on a post by Sief Al-Hadhari, an advisor to Ali Mohsen, stating that Saudi Arabia’s imposition of the blockade was within what circumstances and existing equations in northern Yemen permitted, indicating that Saudi Arabia would not fight the battle on behalf of those he described as the “Yemenis,” a clear reference to the forces loyal to his country.

Al-Omari called on everyone to consider the landing of the Iranian aircraft as a fact and a reality that should be clear to them.

Al-Hadhari had criticized in a tweet Saudi Arabia’s failure to intercept the Iranian aircraft, considering it an insult to it, in an attempt to incite Saudi Arabia to war.

Saudi Arabia’s retreat from escalation indicates that it no longer possesses many options in confronting Yemen.
