Araghchi: No resumption of talks with Washington before “Israel’s” withdrawal from Lebanon

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi affirmed on Tuesday that Tehran will not resume talks with the US before the implementation of the Lebanon-related clause in the memorandum of understanding signed between the two sides.

Araghchi explained in a press statement that Iran will not sign any final or comprehensive agreement with Washington before the complete withdrawal of occupation forces from Lebanese territory.

He stressed that ending the war and ensuring the implementation of commitments related to Lebanon constitute an essential condition for proceeding with any future political understandings with the US.
