Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The Yemeni Armed Forces announced the execution of a military operation targeting Abha International Airport with a number of ballistic missiles and drones, affirming that the operation came in response to the bombing of Sana’a International Airport and successfully achieved its objectives.
The Yemeni Armed Forces also warned, in a statement by their spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree, all airlines against crossing Saudi airspace until the siege on Sana’a Airport is lifted.
The Armed Forces stated that Saudi warplanes launched raids on Sana’a International Airport at 1:54 PM on Monday, aiming to close it to humanitarian flights transporting patients and stranded individuals, noting that they engaged the attacking aircraft during the raids and held Saudi Arabia fully responsible for the repercussions of the attack.
The statement affirmed the Armed Forces’ continued commitment to repelling the aggression and lifting the siege, expressing gratitude to Iran for operating humanitarian flights to and from Sana’a Airport, and emphasizing the forces’ readiness to take all necessary measures in response to the continued siege.
