The Political Bureau of Ansar Allah: The Bombing of Sana’a Airport Is a Dangerous Saudi Escalation, and Our People Have the Right to Respond

The Political Bureau of Ansar Allah issued a strongly worded statement yesterday condemning the Saudi regime’s bombing of Sana’a International Airport, considering the step a crime and a blatant aggression against Yemeni sovereignty.

Special Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The Political Bureau of Ansar Allah affirmed that this crime constitutes “a blatant aggression and a flagrant assault on Yemeni sovereignty, and a clear violation of international laws and covenants,” pointing out that the Saudi regime’s attempt has failed in achieving its goal.

The statement also described the step as a dangerous escalation aimed at preventing the national delegation from returning to the homeland.

The statement considered that targeting the airport reflects “the level of hatred and criminality” adopted by the Saudi regime and the United States towards the Yemeni people, noting that this aggression comes in the context of implementing the “American desire” aimed at perpetuating the state of unjust siege imposed on the Yemeni people for more than 10 years, and attempting to re-impose guardianship over Yemen and confiscate its national decision and sovereignty.

The Political Bureau stressed that “the logic of force and arrogance pursued by the aggression coalition is doomed to failure,” while affirming that the Yemeni people have “the full right to respond to this aggression.”

The Ansar Allah statement called on the United Nations, the international community, and humanitarian organizations to shoulder their responsibilities towards the suffocating siege, affirming that the Yemeni people will remain steadfast in their rights and sovereignty, and no aggression will deter them from continuing to defend their legitimate causes.
