Yemeni warning to airlines: Saudi airspace isn’t safe

Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The Yemeni Armed Forces renewed today their warning to all airlines against crossing Saudi airspace.

The military media affiliated with the Yemeni Armed Forces republished a warning previously issued by the official spokesman of the Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, which stated: “We warn all airlines against crossing Saudi airspace, and they must take our warnings seriously until the siege on Sana’a International Airport is lifted.”

This renewed warning comes at a time when specialized sites tracking air navigation movement showed “the continued closure of Abha Airport.”

Sana’a had warned days ago that “any Saudi aggression and violation of our airspace will be met with a firm response,” following the Saudi raids that targeted Sana’a International Airport moments before an Iranian aircraft carrying Yemeni patients and travelers was due to land.
