Government media: 3,795 Israeli violations of the Gaza ceasefire agreement

The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip revealed on Sunday that the Israeli occupation had committed 3,795 violations of the ceasefire agreement up to the 280th day of its implementation. These violations resulted in the deaths of 1,168 Palestinians and injuries to 3,734 others, in addition to the arrest of 149 people during this period.

In a report, the office explained that only 59,613 humanitarian aid trucks had entered the Gaza Strip, out of the 168,000 trucks that were supposed to enter by that date, representing a compliance rate of no more than 35 percent.

The report also indicated that the occupation authorities had allowed only 9,268 travelers to cross the Rafah border crossing, out of the 24,600 travelers who were supposed to be permitted to cross since the agreement to reopen the crossing, representing a compliance rate of 37 percent.

The office condemned the Israeli policy, which it said targets the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, holding the occupation fully responsible for the deteriorating humanitarian situation and the continued killings in the Strip. The mediators and sponsors of the ceasefire agreement were urged to take action to compel the occupation to implement all the terms of the agreement and to put an end to what he described as ongoing Israeli violations.
